The Guided Tour The Guided Tour was the first professionally supervised travel program in the U.S for persons with developmental and physical challenges. Founded in 1972, by Irv Segal, this unique program is administered by social workers not travel agents. Irv Segal has been up for (2) John F. Kennedy awards and recently was honored for a lifetime achievement award by his State of Pennsylvania. He also was recently recognised as a 30 year member of The American Association of Mental Retardation (AAMR). Mr Segal works with his wife and two sons and continues to pioneer in this field. There is a nurse on most trips and the ratio is 1:3 except for their "on wheels" trips for slow pacers, persons with vision challenges as well as persons in wheelchairs. Please call
